InterNACHI PA Act 114 Compliance

Pennsylvania’s ACT 114 defines a "National home inspectors association" as:

  1. Non-profit
  2. Members in more than 10 states
  3. Requires members to have passed a recognized or accredited exam
  4. Requires that members comply with code of conduct
  5. Members attend continuing education

InterNACHI Complies with all of the above requirements.

The link below provides the actual content amending Title 68 (Real and Personal Property) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, relating to residential real estate transfers; providing for disclosures by sellers of residential real estate and for home inspections; and making a repeal.

PA Pest Inspections

PA Dept. of Agriculture does not require a home inspector to be licensed in order to perform pest inspections as long as he/she does not apply pesticides.
